What is the objective?

To establish a group of physicians who are known experts in cardiovascular hemodynamics and have the ability to train other physicians in this field of study and to become faculty at major meetings pertaining to this topic.

How do I become an expert?

There are three different levels of certification:

  • Level 1 (Faculty at local programs)
  • Level 2 (Faculty at regional programs)
  • Expert Level (Faculty at national programs)

How do I get started?

  • You will receive an invitation to attend a TEACH I Program.
  • In order to confirm your attendance, you must register and complete an introductory on-line module on hemodynamics.
  • Level 1 certification is obtained upon completion of the on-line exam post TEACH I.

How do I qualify for TEACH II?

In order to qualify for TEACH II, you must have obtained your Level 1 certification through successful completion of TEACH I.

What are the benefits of completing this course?

Upon successful completion of the course, attendees will have the opportunity to join a speaker’s bureau to lecture on advanced hemodynamic topics in meetings being organized throughout the country. Educational material will also be made available for introduction of focused mini-courses into medical school and fellowship curricula.
